Inspired after seeing the positive reception of the public towards a drift demonstration during the “Orang Kuat Sabah 2010”, it was then Casero Events had the idea for a drifting event. After just 3 months of planning with KK D1 Club, Burnout360 was then announced & Introduced to the people of Sabah.
The first edition of Burnout360 attracted a few local Sabahan drifters. Considering the time & budget constraint , it was a success.
Now Back for its second edition, Casero Events tried hard to make sure that Burnout360 will be bigger & better than the 1st edition. This event is already acknowledged & supported by the following State Ministries :-
- Sabah Sports Board
- Ministry of Youth & Sports
- Ministry of Tourism, Culture & Environment
- Majlis Belia Sabah(MBS)
- Jabatan Belia & Sukan(Persekutuan) Negeri Sabah
To ensure Burnout360 will be up to the standard of world drifting event, the organizer have also took the initiative to seek help & guidance from Malaysia’s very own Drift King, Tengku Djan Ley. Already well know around the world of drifting, he will be one of the professional judge & also the Drift Track consultant.
With all the support given, the organizer hopes that this event will be one of the many sports tourism that can help find local drifting/motorsport talent and at the same time help boost Sabah’s economy through Tourism.
